Studies show prolonged periods of sitting is bad for our health.  

The Bad News: studies show sitting for even just 3 hours can lead to dysfunction of the lining of our circulatory system

The Good News: studies show just walking for 2-5 minutes an hour can prevent the damage of sitting and help reverse it

So get up and move often.  It might save your life.
