A New Meta-Analysis Confirms Dry Needling is Effective for Reducing Neck Pain

Neck pain is a common injury that many will experience at one point in their lives.

For those of us who have had it, we know how debilitating it is.

I think the main reason for this is because the neck serves as an apparatus for our senses. Every look, smell, taste, and noise has to be oriented to through our neck. This means we literally can’t get away from using our neck unless we sleep or hide in a sensory deprivation tank.

There are many ways to improve neck pain. But one of the quickest ways is through dry needling and manual therapy. This doesn’t solve it, but it often leads to a huge improvement in symptoms.

A recent meta-analysis (the highest form of research) confirmed that dry needling is effective for reducing neck pain and disability.

The research looked at 9 RCT with over 500 participants and found that dry needling significantly improved pain, disability, and functional outcomes.

So if you’re having neck pain and need some help, give us a call and get in for some dry needling and physical therapy.
