The Risk/Reward of Exercise Might Equal the Risk/Reward of Your Quality of Life

It’s clear in the research and anicdotally in life, how important exercise is for our health, longevity, and quality of life.

Exercise is the magical multivitamin that improves every aspect of our life.

Diet, sleep, and mental health are important as well. But maybe not as important as exercise and movement.

Our bodies are made to move. Without movement, we can’t live.

This is true evolutionarily as well as today in medicine.

This leads to a risk reward aspect.

Getting injured or not rehabbing your current injuries will lead to less movement and exercise…

Which leads to less health benefits and a poorer quality of life.

So the only thing more important than not getting injured, is making sure you rehab the ones that you may already have.

And when you exercise, don’t go for the glory without realising the risk to your overall health and longevity.

It’s the “live to fight another day” mindset.
